mainly worked on the first section again, but began messing with the second as well. Traded out the transition with another one, and experimented with a bass line in the first section. I think this may be changing too quickly in the beginning, but I’m not sure yet. I’ll probably glitchify some of the lead instruments in subsequent iterations as well…

mainly worked on the first transition. It’s coming along (you can hear it! hopefully…)

worked on the intro and my non-dance rhythm. Still working on lengths and transitions… Also threw in some random radio effects using a group track with Studio-EQ in it. I’ll vary the band frequencies during the radio effect to get some nice variation like you hear in the real tracks. All the drums are out of a Battery 3 preset (Turn Table Rocker kit, I think). Lots of different synths, but they are all built in to Cubase 4.

Inspired by a Ministry of Sound CD (summer sessions disc 2); this is the culmination of listening to hundreds of different sounds and putting them together. Plan on adding an intro without the typical dance beat (to ease into it), needs a lot of variation and effects, but it is the early stages.
Three new songs from the Langsjoen man. (Lyrics are provided in the first comment)

Finally finished this one (at least as far as I’m gonna go). I had a few beers and loosened up enough to use my drum pad a little crazy like, bumped it to audio, and mixed it in. Then I tinkered with some compression on the electronic drums and a limiter on the master bus, and there we are. Hopefully someone else enjoys it.

The next iteration of this one.
Almost done, just need to get some decent drums going on this one…

After messing around with some random drums and rearranging a bit, this is the resulting monstrosity. Still trying to figure out which parts I like and what my plan is. Probably will start messing with audio clips soon as there are a lot of elements that I like present. Still not happy with the synth sounds, so they might change quite a bit.
